how can i attach a mouse and keyboard to ma ps3?

can i attach a simple logitech mouse and keyboard to my ps3?
i haven't tried it yet becaus i don't have a usb keyboard for my pc because i have a laptop. and i think it's pritty dumb to buy a keyboard for my ps3 while i'm having a chance it doesn't work on my ps3.

so can i attach a mouse and keyboard to my ps3 and do i need to install some software to run it? can i play every game with my mouse and keyboard?

I don't know much about this but I'm pretty sure you can't play games with it.

Nope, not as far i'm not aware. Maybe with some 3rd Party stuff, yes. But officially no.

The only game i know of that you can play with mouse and keyboard is UT3, doesn't work for anything else I'm pretty sure.

I am able to hook up my mouse and keyboard to my PS2, But it'd only work with certain games.

Its more for using the web browser, and filling out information. The games are setup for the Dual Shock controller, I have not tried using a keyboard or mouse to play any games. I can not say for sure that there are not a few games out for keyboard and mouse, but its not made to use them in games.
