Both have been added. Images bigger than 700x600 will be resized accordingly. This also includes signatures (and album pictures (800x600) that're bigger than the allowed dimension (which is 800x160). Testing:

Keep in mind, however, that we are still to use the spoiler tags if it comes to certain content (ie. spoilers for game releases, etc.).

maybe to make spoilers a bit more apparent (for us habitual clickers of buttons on forums) make the spoiler tag text read "Spoiler" in 'red italic+bold' and not 'black bold'?

That makes it look ugly as hell. You can read Spoilers in black, why making it red?
